There is no activity that cannot be done safely and therefore there are no exceptions in our safety policies. In each of our plants everyone - employees, contractors and visitors - is responsible for his/her own safety and that of his/her colleagues, as well as the people around him/her.

Improving our safety performance is a constant priority: “zero accident” is the ultimate goal for all of our operations.

To foster a safety culture, develop our safety skills and improve our overall safety performance, we set clear targets and review our performance through regularly planned audits involving people at all levels in our organization.

Sustainability

Economic and social development and environmental protection are united through the responsible use of natural resources and respectful relationships with our stakeholders: employees, suppliers, customers and local communities.

In our industrial activities, we minimize the use of raw materials, reduce water use and energy consumptions in our processes, reduce waste, increase environmentally-respectful transportation and integrate significant portion of renewable energy in our portfolio. Our carbon footprint is positive, as we save more CO2 emissions via renewable energy production than we generate in conventional fuel units.

We believe that our relationships must also be sustainable. This translates into paying fair salaries, fostering skill development in our employees, establishing respectful relationships with our suppliers and customers and supporting our local communities.
