The Etea Group combines a long-standing presence in agribusiness with innovation and progress.
The Group was founded in 1995 as an engineering firm with the goal of utilizing and developing the skills accrued by the proprietors in their decades of experience in the production of starch-derivatives, gluten and alcohol.
These skills were developed over generations through the management and development of the company Sedamyl, and are the base of the Group’s growth and diversification.
Although the two companies are not financially related, the proprietors of Etea are still directly involved in the management and the capital participation of Sedamyl.
In 1998, the engineering firm expanded to include production activities. Initially with the production of alcohol and starch-derivatives, subsequently in renewable energy development and most recently in sourcing and trading of cereals and oilseeds.
As the Etea Group’s production diversified it also expanded geographically, first within the EU and then in the Balkan area.
Today, the Etea Group is present in 7 European countries – Italy, France, UK, Albania, Romania, Serbia and Bosnia – as owner-operator of 19 production facilities as well as numerous storage sites.
